​Therapist In-Person - Hammond

Description

The Mental Health Therapist position provides in person therapy services to individuals, couples, families and groups in the Hammond office. This position will also exercise considerable independence of judgment in the application of therapy skills to an identified caseload of clients with individual and/or family problems requiring a variety of intervention and service techniques and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couple, family and group mental health counseling to clients experiencing mental health needs

  • Evaluate, assess and diagnose clients based on presenting issues
  • Identify and set goals to meet client’s needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plan to support therapeutic interventions using identified goals
  • Consult with clinical team and participate in clinical team meetings

  • Respond to client crisis and/or risk as needed
  • 
Demonstrates knowledge of mental health standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior

Qualifications

  • Required to have one of the following licenses in the state of Indiana: LSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LMHCA, LMHC
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI number)
  • Professional Liability (malpractice) insurance
